Current Available Positions
The CAAD research group at the IWR/University of Heidelberg is looking for a PhD-student, postdoc and/or visitors for 3 up to 6 months to carry out research in one of the following fields:
- Development of grid/particle-based numerical solvers, (including SPH and N-body)
- The internal structure of glitching pulsars (EOS, QCD, theory and/or observations)
- Robust solvers for the Gross-Pitaevskii equation
- Interactions of superfluids with normal rotating fluids in neutron stars
- Numerical modelling of rotating fluids between two concentric spheres
The appointments may start immediately and the income is up to 3300 Euro/month,depending on family-status and experience.
